Anyone interested in Mid-Range ( 600 yds) or Long Range ( 800, 900, 1,000 yds) NRA style competitive shooting? Iron Sights or Any Sights. Follows NRA Highpower Rifle Rules and International Fullbore Rules. F-Class shooting?

yes, but more on the style of Quigley shoot (800yds) in Montana with sitting on ground/cross sticks, MVA scope because eye sight at 400 yds aint what it used to be! In addition, I reload my own 405-500 gr 45-70 bullets.

the NRA matches and shooting conducts Across-the-Course matches with 200 yard standing slow, and sitting rapid fire; 300 yard prone rapid fire; 600 yard slow fire. same at DCM rules. the NRA also has Mid range ( 600 yd) and Long Range ( 800,900 & 1,000 yds). most of the NRA is iron sights but 4x power scopes allowed on service rifles.

There are NRA F-Class rules and shooting is typically 300 – 600 & 1000 yds and categories such as Open ( bipods and machine rests with back bags) FTR – bipods only and calibers 7.62/.308 or 5.56/223. i don’t shoot F-class but know the guys and can pass someone over to get help.

Shot Marker and Kongsburg Electronic Scoring. I use two Shotmarker systems and wish the range would accommodate them. it takes me 20 minutes to set mine up down range and it can stay there all day if need be until shooting is over. I can save my data, electronic targets, and all of the physical data in Excel. if the range management would like to see how it works, i’ll set it up for them. As long as other shooters do not shoot it up while down range, it will not interfere with the TD cameras on their steel targets. I shoot cardboard with digital 10X targets – anyone interested let me know. [email protected]
